Manuscript Submission Format for Agents, Editors & Publishers

It is important to follow the proper manuscript guidelines when submitting your book to an agent, editor or publisher. They will be more impressed if you are professional and have followed the industry standard.

**Always use a common, easy to read font: I recommend Times New Roman, font size 12- DO NOT overuse italics, and/or bold writing**

1 page synopsis with title

Title Page: 
Top right corner:

• Author's name
• Word Count
• Page Numbers

Center:  

• Title of the book
• Genre
• Author's Name

Manuscript pages: 

• Author's name and title located in the footer on the bottom left
• Page numbers on every page in the bottom center
